History
History of Sri Lanka Catholic Association, Melbourne
Founded in 2003, the Sri Lanka Catholic Association (ASLCA) in Melbourne, Australia, stands as a testament to the spirit of community and faith. Established as an incorporated association, ASLCA has been a guiding force for the Sri Lankan Catholic community in Melbourne, Australia.
The association was born out of a shared vision among dedicated individuals who sought to create a platform for cultural and spiritual enrichment. Over the years, the committed committee members of ASLCA have tirelessly worked to foster a sense of belonging and support among the Sri Lankan Catholic diaspora.
With a focus on unity and service, ASLCA organizes various events, including religious ceremonies, Holy Masses, cultural celebrations, and community outreach programs. These initiatives serve to strengthen the bonds within the community and provide a nurturing environment for spiritual growth.
